Here's an overview of my Terra Gothica TTRPG setting.

"The history of Terra Gothic is the same as ours, until the year 1850. The same wars were fought, the new world was being colonized, and Europe was experiencing growth in industry. But from this point on, something changed.
Elves were spotted in the forests of Germany along with other Faerie races and creatures from folk lore. Dragons long rumored to be only fairy tales were spotted in the skies from time to time.
In 1851 dwarves started mining operations in the new world. Dwarven prospectors started showing up in California. By 1855, New York City was home to not just human settlers, but everything from gnomes to tieflings began to arrive on boats.
Magic actually started to work on Earth. Magicians couldn’t compete with actual sorcerers and wizards."
